Victuals for Veterans

The Victuals for Veterans programs started during the COVID shutdown in 2020.

For ANZAC Day, a group of volunteers made a lovely lunch, including ANZAC biscuits and a drink, which was delivered to some of our mature veterans, so we could catch up with them on this day of commemoration and keep the ANZAC spirit alive.



It was decided that the program would continue with meals being made each week, so that the veterans could receive a free meal and to establish a way to check up on them, during the trying times of COVID restrictions.
